Tick and flea control that actually works
Hyderabad has year-round tick pressure and a monsoon spike that catches most owners out. Ticks here carry ehrlichiosis and babesiosis, both of which kill dogs, so this is not a comfort issue. We stock 192 tick and flea products — oral chewables, spot-ons, sprays, collars and shampoos — for dogs and cats.
A few things worth knowing
Treat every pet in the house, every month. One untreated animal maintains the whole cycle. Gaps between doses are the most common reason a tick problem never fully clears.
Monsoon is the peak, but not the whole story. Hyderabad tick activity never really stops. Year-round prevention is cheaper and far safer than treating tick fever, which needs hospitalisation and often transfusion.
Shampoos kill what is on the coat and nothing more. Useful for knocking down a heavy infestation on the day. They give no residual protection — pair with an oral or spot-on. See shampoos and conditioners.
Watch for the signs of tick fever. Lethargy, pale gums, high fever, nosebleed or bruising after tick exposure needs same-day veterinary attention. Our vet is on site at the Gachibowli store.

Delivery and returns
Tick and flea products are delivered anywhere in Hyderabad in 60 to 90 minutes, between 10 AM and 8 PM. Orders placed after 6:30 PM arrive next day by 12 PM. Delivery is free on Hyderabad orders over ₹799, and free over ₹999 across Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. We ship pan-India. Sealed packs can be returned within 7 days. Opened spot-ons and orals cannot be returned.
Common questions
How often should I treat for ticks in Hyderabad?
Every month, all year. Monthly orals or spot-ons, without gaps. Seasonal treatment leaves windows that ticks exploit, and Hyderabad's climate supports them through winter.
Which is better, oral tablets or spot-on?
Orals are more reliable — no washing off, no residue, whole-body coverage. Spot-ons suit dogs who refuse tablets and cats who cannot take oral fluralaner.
My dog still has ticks after treatment. Why?
Usually the environment. Ticks in bedding, cracks and the yard keep reinfesting. Wash all bedding hot, vacuum thoroughly and treat the surroundings alongside the animal.
Can I use a dog spot-on on my cat if I use less?
No, never. Permethrin poisoning in cats causes seizures and death, and dose reduction does not make it safe. Always buy the cat-specific product.
How do I remove a tick properly?
Grip as close to the skin as possible with fine tweezers and pull straight out with steady pressure. Do not twist, burn or apply oil — those make the tick regurgitate into the wound, which raises infection risk.
Are tick collars any good?
Quality collars give several months of protection and suit dogs who are difficult to dose. They work less well on dogs who swim often, and coverage at the tail end of the body is weaker than with orals.
