Keeping a pet in HITEC City

This is our closest area, and it shows in the orders. HITEC City is 2.8 km away, under ten minutes, which makes it the one place where a forgotten bag of litter or a finished tin of food genuinely is a same-hour problem rather than a next-day one. It is also the most office-dense area we serve, so a lot of what we deliver goes to flats where nobody is home between 9 and 7.

Ticks are a year-round problem, not a monsoon one. This is the single thing we correct most often at the counter. Hyderabad stays warm enough that the tick cycle never fully breaks, and the gap most households leave between October and February is when infestations re-establish. Day care solves it properly; puzzle feeders and chew toys take the edge off if day care is not practical. Boarding runs from the same building when you travel, which is why we see most of our boarding guests from this side of the ORR.

Pavement, heat and paws. There is very little soil here — it is concrete, granite and tarmac almost everywhere, including around the Interactive Science Park where a lot of people walk their dogs. Two consequences: nails wear down far less than owners expect and need trimming more often, and from March to May the surface gets hot enough to burn pads. Walk early or after dark, and check the pavement with the back of your hand before you set off.
