What vaccinations does my puppy need in India?
Puppies usually start their core course at 6–8 weeks, with boosters every 3–4 weeks until around 16 weeks, then an annual booster. Rabies vaccination is legally required in India. Bring any existing records and we'll work out where your puppy is in the schedule.
What vaccinations does my kitten need?
Kittens typically start at 8–9 weeks with a core vaccine, a booster 3–4 weeks later, then rabies and annual boosters. Indoor cats still need vaccinating.
How often should I deworm my dog?
Puppies need deworming every 2–3 weeks until 12 weeks old, then monthly to 6 months, then every 3 months as adults. Hyderabad's climate keeps parasite load high year-round.
Do you carry out spaying, neutering or other surgery?
No. We're a consultation clinic — no surgery, X-ray, ultrasound or overnight care. For sterilisation we'll refer you to a surgical facility in Hyderabad.
Do you handle emergencies?
We're a consultation clinic and don't offer after-hours or critical care. For an emergency, go directly to a 24-hour animal hospital rather than waiting for us to open.
Can you recommend a prescription diet?
A vet chooses a veterinary diet for kidney, digestive, urinary and weight conditions; our own vet clinic is not running at the moment. We stock the major ranges, so you can start as soon as a vet has prescribed one.
My dog has been scratching constantly — is that urgent?
Constant scratching in Hyderabad's climate is usually fleas, a fungal infection or an allergy. Not an emergency, but it's worth checking within a few days — skin infections escalate fast in humidity. See a vet, and bring details of any shampoo or medication you've already tried.
