Summer wear and cooling gear

Hyderabad summers regularly clear 40°C and dogs manage heat far worse than people do — panting is a much less efficient way to cool down than sweating. We stock 4 summer and cooling products.

Cooling works by evaporation

Wet a cooling towel or vest, wring it out and put it on. It works as the water evaporates, so it needs re-wetting rather than replacing.

Never shave a double coat

The undercoat insulates against heat as well as cold and protects skin from sun. Shaved double-coated dogs often cope worse, and the coat can regrow permanently damaged.

Highest risk breeds

Pugs, Shih Tzus and other flat-faced dogs, plus seniors, overweight dogs and puppies. For these, timing walks matters more than any product.

Know the warning signs

Heavy laboured panting, drooling, bright red or bluish gums, staggering or collapse. That is an emergency — cool with water and get to a vet immediately.

Delivery and returns

Summer gear is delivered anywhere in Hyderabad the same day, between 10 AM and 6 PM. Orders placed after 4:30 PM arrive next day by 12 PM. Delivery is free on orders over ₹799 in Hyderabad. Common questions

How do I keep my dog cool in Hyderabad summer?

Walk before 8 AM and after 7 PM, keep water available everywhere, use cooling mats indoors, and never leave a dog in a parked car. Flat-faced breeds need air conditioning through the afternoon.

Do cooling vests work?

Yes, while damp. They rely on evaporation, so re-wet them every 20 to 30 minutes in real heat.

Should I shave my dog in summer?

Not if it is double-coated. Single-coated breeds can be trimmed shorter, but leave enough coat to protect against sunburn.

What are the signs of heat stroke?

Frantic panting, thick drool, red or blue gums, vomiting, unsteadiness or collapse. Cool with room-temperature water and get to a vet immediately — this kills quickly.

Yes. Orders placed before 4:30 PM are delivered the same day across Hyderabad. Outside Hyderabad we send by courier, and delivery time depends on the courier.

Is delivery free?

Delivery is free on orders over ₹799 in Hyderabad. Outside Hyderabad the courier's charge is shown at checkout before you pay.

Do you accept cash on delivery?

Yes, in Hyderabad. A cash order has a delivery charge of ₹150, paid online when you order; you pay for the goods at the door. Orders sent by courier outside Hyderabad are paid in advance.

Where is your store?

Cuddle Paws Co is at St. Mary's School Rd, Laxmi Nagar, Mozampura, SBH Colony, Vijaya Nagar Colony, Hyderabad 500057, open 10 am to 10 pm, every day. How much does dog grooming cost?

Grooming at Cuddle Paws Co, at our Vijay Nagar Colony shop, starts at ₹500 for a dry bath (small and medium dogs), which covers a dry shampoo bath, blow dry, ear cleaning and nail trimming. A Basic Bath is from ₹850 and a Premium Bath from ₹1,300; dog prices go by size. All prices include GST.

Do you offer pet boarding?

Yes. Boarding starts at ₹600 a day at our Vijay Nagar Colony shop, with supervised day and night care. A current vaccination certificate is required.

Is there a vet at the store?

Not at the moment. Our vet clinic at the Gachibowli shop is not running at the moment. There is no vet at our Vijay Nagar Colony shop.

Do I need a prescription for pet medicines?

Some medicines require a valid veterinary prescription before we can dispense them, in line with the Drugs and Cosmetics Act. Over-the-counter items such as dewormers, tick and flea spot-ons and supplements do not.

Can I return or exchange a product?

Unopened products in their original packaging can be returned or exchanged. Dry food, cat litter, beds and mats, carriers, and medicines and supplements cannot be returned.

Do you sell pets?

No. We sell products and provide services for pets, but we do not sell animals. If you are looking to bring a pet home, please consider adopting from a local shelter.
