Choosing a shampoo for your pet
Shampoo is the product most owners buy wrong. Coat type, skin condition and whether you are washing dirt or treating disease all point to different bottles. We stock 200 shampoos and conditioners for dogs and cats — medicated, oatmeal, degreasing, whitening, puppy, waterless and conditioning.
A few things worth knowing
Medicated shampoos need ten minutes. Ketoconazole, chlorhexidine and benzoyl peroxide have to sit on the skin to work. Lather, wait, then rinse. Washing straight off is why most owners conclude a medicated shampoo failed.
Conditioner is not optional for long coats. Shampoo lifts the cuticle. Without conditioner, long and double coats tangle far more easily and mat within days.
Tick and flea shampoos give no lasting cover. They kill what is on the coat that day and nothing more. Pair with an oral or spot-on from tick and flea.
Waterless shampoo has a real place. Useful between baths, for cats, for seniors who find bathing stressful, and in winter. It does not clear infection or heavy soiling. See dry grooming and wipes.

Delivery and returns
Shampoos and conditioners are delivered anywhere in Hyderabad in 60 to 90 minutes, between 10 AM and 8 PM. Orders placed after 6:30 PM arrive next day by 12 PM. Delivery is free on Hyderabad orders over ₹799, and free over ₹999 across Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. We ship pan-India. Sealed bottles can be returned within 7 days. Opened shampoos cannot be returned for hygiene reasons.
Common questions
Which shampoo is best for itchy skin?
Oatmeal or aloe-based shampoos soothe mild itch. Persistent itching usually has a specific cause — fleas, yeast, mites or allergy — and needs the matching medicated wash rather than a soothing one.
Can I use baby shampoo on my dog?
It is milder than adult human shampoo but still the wrong pH for dog skin. A basic pet shampoo costs little more and is formulated correctly.
How do I bathe a cat?
Most cats never need it. When medically necessary, use a few inches of warm water, a cat-specific shampoo, work quickly and dry thoroughly. Two people makes it considerably easier.
What is the difference between conditioner and detangler?
Conditioner is rinsed out during the bath and restores coat moisture. Detangler is a leave-in spray used during brushing to reduce friction on mats. Long-coated breeds benefit from both.
My white dog's coat looks yellow. What helps?
Whitening shampoos with optical brighteners help surface staining. Yellowing around the eyes and mouth is usually tear or saliva staining, which needs a tear stain product rather than shampoo.
Is puppy shampoo necessary?
Yes, until about six months. Puppy skin is thinner and more sensitive, and tearless formulations matter when a puppy will not hold still.
