How to choose cat dry food
Cats are obligate carnivores — they need real, named animal protein at the top of the ingredient list, not fillers and by-products. We stock 184 dry cat foods, from ₹165 packs to 20kg bulk bags, delivered anywhere in Hyderabad in 60 to 90 minutes.
A few things worth knowing
Grain-free is a preference, not a requirement. True grain allergy is uncommon in cats — most food sensitivities trace to a protein source rather than the grain. If your cat does well on a grain-inclusive kibble there is no medical reason to switch.
Prescription diets are different. Renal, gastrointestinal, urinary S/O and hypoallergenic formulas are therapeutic foods, not general upgrades. Our vet at the Gachibowli store can advise if you are unsure which your cat needs.
Pair dry food with water, and ideally with wet. Adding one wet meal a day raises total water intake measurably, which supports urinary health. A water fountain helps too — moving water encourages most cats to drink more than a still bowl does.

Delivery and returns
Cat dry food is delivered anywhere in Hyderabad in 60 to 90 minutes, between 10 AM and 8 PM. Orders placed after 6:30 PM arrive next day by 12 PM. Delivery is free on Hyderabad orders over ₹799, and free over ₹999 across Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. We ship pan-India. Sealed food can be returned within 7 days; opened food cannot, so buy a small pack first when trying a new brand.
Common questions
How much dry food should I feed my cat per day?
Most adult cats need 40 to 60 grams a day, but calorie density varies by brand — follow the chart on your specific pack and adjust to your cat's body condition. Neutered indoor cats usually need the lower end.
How do I switch my cat to a new food?
Over 7 to 10 days. Start at roughly a quarter new food and increase every couple of days. Cats are more prone than dogs to digestive upset and outright refusal after a sudden change.
How long does a bag stay fresh once opened?
Aim to finish it within 4 to 6 weeks. In Hyderabad's humidity, put the whole bag inside an airtight container rather than tipping the kibble in loose — the bag itself has a fat barrier.
Is buying a 20kg bag cheaper?
Per kilo, considerably. But only worth it for multi-cat homes or rescues, otherwise the food goes stale before it is eaten.
Can I mix dry and wet food?
Yes, and many vets prefer it. A common approach is dry food available through the day plus one wet meal.
