Cat Shampoo

Shampoo made for cats. Every bottle on this page names cats on the label, which matters more than it sounds: some dog shampoos and tick washes contain permethrin, and a cat's body cannot break it down. A dog bottle is never a small-dose cat bottle.

Most cats need bathing rarely. Bath a cat when there is a reason - something on the coat, a skin problem your vet has named, or a kitten that cannot groom itself yet - and leave the coat alone the rest of the time. If the skin is scabby, smelly or losing hair, that is a vet visit before it is a shampoo choice. We do not run a vet clinic.
