Rottweiler Dog Food and Supplies

Everything for a Rottweiler

Rottweilers are powerful, food-motivated and prone to joint problems, which makes weight control the single most useful thing an owner does. Hyderabad heat is also harder on a heavy black-coated dog than most owners allow for. We stock 2 products suited to Rottweilers.

Keep them lean

Every extra kilogram loads hips, elbows and cruciate ligaments. Rottweilers gain easily and hide it under muscle — feel for ribs rather than judging by eye.

A black coat absorbs heat

Walk early or late, carry water, and watch for heavy panting. Dark coats reach higher surface temperatures than pale ones in the same sun.

Joints from the start

Hip and elbow dysplasia and cruciate rupture are all common. Large-breed puppy food, controlled growth and joint support in adulthood all help.

Strong gear, properly fitted

A well-fitted harness gives control without pressure on the throat. Check fit monthly on a growing dog. See collars, leashes and harnesses.

Delivery and returns

a Rottweiler are delivered anywhere in Hyderabad the same day, between 10 AM and 6 PM. Orders placed after 4:30 PM arrive next day by 12 PM. Delivery is free on orders over ₹799 in Hyderabad. Outside Hyderabad we send by courier across India, and the courier's charge is shown at checkout for your pin code. See Delivery across India.

Common questions

How much should a Rottweiler weigh?

Roughly 50 to 60kg for males and 35 to 48kg for females, but body condition matters more than the number. You should feel ribs easily with flat fingers.

Are Rottweilers prone to hip problems?

Yes, hip and elbow dysplasia are both common. Controlled growth as a puppy and lean body weight through life are the two biggest protective factors.

How do I keep a Rottweiler cool in Hyderabad?

Walk before 8 AM and after 7 PM, always carry water, and use cooling mats indoors. Never leave a dog in a parked car, even briefly.

What size collar or harness does a Rottweiler need?

Large to extra large depending on build. Measure girth behind the front legs and neck circumference rather than buying by weight alone.
