Grooming supplies for Hyderabad coats
Heat, humidity and dust do specific things to a coat, and grooming in Hyderabad is not the same job as grooming in a temperate climate. We stock 534 grooming and hygiene products — shampoos, conditioners, brushes, combs, clippers, wipes, ear and eye care, paw care and deodorisers — for dogs and cats. Our groomers use most of them daily at the Gachibowli store.
A few things worth knowing
Never use human shampoo. Dog and cat skin sits at a different pH to human skin. Human shampoo strips the acid mantle and is a common cause of the chronic itching people then treat as an allergy.
Medicated shampoo needs contact time. Ketoconazole, chlorhexidine and benzoyl peroxide shampoos need 10 minutes on the skin to work. Lathering and rinsing straight off wastes the product and the visit. See shampoos and conditioners.
Ears and paws are where problems start. Check ears weekly for smell and discharge, and paw pads after every walk in summer — hot pavement burns pads before an owner notices. See ear and eye care and paw and nail care.
Wipes are not a substitute for washing. They are genuinely useful between baths, after walks and for cats who cannot be bathed. They do not clear skin infection or heavy soiling. See dry grooming and wipes.

Grooming at our Gachibowli store starts at ₹499 for a dry bath and runs to ₹1,300 for a premium bath or a full-body trim. We have been grooming dogs and cats since 2022. If a coat is matted, a dog is anxious about handling, or you would simply rather not do it in your bathroom, book a slot.
Delivery and returns
Grooming supplies are delivered anywhere in Hyderabad in 60 to 90 minutes, between 10 AM and 8 PM. Orders placed after 6:30 PM arrive next day by 12 PM. Delivery is free on Hyderabad orders over ₹799, and free over ₹999 across Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. We ship pan-India. Unopened products can be returned within 7 days. Opened shampoos, sprays and topicals cannot be returned for hygiene reasons.
Common questions
How often should I bathe my dog?
Every three to four weeks for most dogs. More often only if your vet has prescribed a medicated wash. Over-bathing strips coat oils and causes dry, itchy skin.
Which shampoo is best for tick and flea?
A tick and flea shampoo kills what is on the coat at that moment but gives no lasting protection. Pair it with a spot-on or oral treatment from our tick and flea range for actual control.
My dog hates being brushed. What do I do?
Usually the brush is wrong for the coat, or a mat is being pulled. Switch to a rubber curry or grooming glove, work in short sessions, and deal with mats by cutting them out rather than dragging a brush through.
Do cats need grooming?
Long-haired cats need brushing several times a week to prevent mats and reduce hairballs. Short-haired cats manage largely on their own, though weekly brushing cuts down shed hair around the house.
Can I use a human hair dryer?
Only on the lowest heat, held well back. Pet dryers move more air at lower temperature, which matters because dog skin burns at temperatures a human scalp tolerates.
How do I get rid of the wet dog smell?
It is usually incomplete drying. Dry right down to the skin rather than just the outer coat. If the smell persists on a dry coat, it is more likely a skin or ear infection than a grooming problem.
