Affiliate Programme Terms

These terms apply to everyone who joins the Cuddle Paws Co affiliate programme. By joining, you agree to them.

1. Joining

When you join we email you a personal code and link. They are yours alone and cannot be transferred.
The discount a shopper gets with your code, and its conditions, are set out in your welcome email.
The discount is for new customers only. Someone who has ordered from Cuddle Paws Co before cannot use an affiliate code.
Each shopper can use an affiliate code once, on their first order.
Your own code gives you no discount: it is for the people you share it with.
The code is not valid on prescription medicines.
Your code cannot be combined with another discount code.
If a shopper opens the links of two affiliates, the first affiliate's code stays with them.

You charge us a referral fee of 4% of the product amount (before GST and delivery) on the first 3 orders of each customer you refer, or the rate stated in your welcome email.
A customer counts as yours when their very first order with us is placed with your code; that order and their next 2 orders earn. Someone who had ordered from us before using your code does not earn you a referral fee.
The product amount is what the shopper pays for the products, after any discount and before GST. Delivery charges are not included.
An order earns once it has been delivered. Orders that are cancelled or returned do not earn. If part of an order is refunded, the referral fee on that part does not earn. If a referral fee was already paid for something refunded, it is deducted from your next payment.
Your own orders do not earn a referral fee: orders from your account, your e-mail address, your phone number or your address.
Only orders placed on our website earn a referral fee, not purchases at our shops.
Prescription medicines do not earn a referral fee.
A referral fee stays pending for 60 days after the order (our returns period) and until the order is delivered. After that it is ready to pay.

We email you a statement every month.
We pay on the 10th of each month by UPI, once Rs 500 or more is ready to pay. A smaller amount stays yours and is paid with a later month.
Before your first payment, add your PAN on your affiliate page. If you are registered for GST, add your GSTIN too and send us a tax invoice with GST for each payment; if you are not registered, we pay the referral fee without GST.
TDS on the referral fee, if applicable, as per the Income-tax Act. Any TDS we deduct is deposited against your PAN and shown in the payment e-mail.
You are responsible for any other tax due on what you earn.

On a website or blog, add rel="sponsored" to any link to us that carries your code (Google's rule for paid links).
Do not make health or medical claims about any product. For advice about a pet's health, point people to their veterinarian.
Do not describe yourself as an employee, agent or partner of Cuddle Paws Co.
Do not post your code on coupon or deal websites, send unsolicited messages, or run paid adverts that use the Cuddle Paws name.
You may use our name and the product photos on our website to recommend us. Do not change our logo.

We may change the referral fee, the shopper discount or these terms. We will email you before a change takes effect.
You may leave the programme at any time by emailing us. We may remove an affiliate who breaks these terms.
When your membership ends, your code stops working and we pay any referral fee already earned on orders that were not cancelled, refunded or returned.
