Veterinary diets are medicine, not premium food
A therapeutic diet is prescribed to manage a diagnosed disease, and feeding the wrong one causes real harm — a renal diet given to a healthy young dog restricts protein it needs. We stock 231 veterinary diets for dogs and cats across renal, hepatic, urinary, gastrointestinal, hypoallergenic, diabetic, obesity, joint and recovery formulas.
A few things worth knowing
Do not switch off a therapeutic diet without asking. Dogs and cats often look well precisely because the diet is working. Stopping because the animal seems fine is a common cause of relapse.
Wet versions matter for urinary and renal cases. Moisture is part of the therapy. Where a wet version exists, it usually outperforms the dry equivalent for bladder and kidney disease.
Palatability is a real obstacle. Sick animals eat poorly and therapeutic diets taste plainer. Warming food, offering the wet version, or switching brands within the same therapeutic category usually solves it — ask before giving up.

Delivery and returns
Veterinary diets are delivered anywhere in Hyderabad in 60 to 90 minutes, between 10 AM and 8 PM. Orders placed after 6:30 PM arrive next day by 12 PM. Delivery is free on Hyderabad orders over ₹799, and free over ₹999 across Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. We ship pan-India. Sealed packs can be returned within 7 days. Opened food cannot be returned.
Common questions
Do I need a prescription for veterinary diets?
They are intended for use under veterinary supervision. We will supply them, but if your pet has not been diagnosed we will recommend a consultation first — these foods are not general upgrades.
Can a healthy pet eat veterinary diet food?
No. Restricted protein, phosphorus or mineral levels that help a sick animal create deficiencies in a healthy one over time.
How long before I see a difference?
Urinary struvite dissolution often shows within two to four weeks. Renal and hepatic diets work over months. Hypoallergenic trials need a full eight weeks before you can judge them.
Can I mix veterinary diet with regular food?
Usually not. Diluting the formula with normal food defeats the therapeutic ratios it depends on, particularly for renal, urinary and hypoallergenic diets.
My cat refuses the renal diet. What are the options?
Try the wet version, warm it slightly, or switch to a different brand within the same category — palatability varies considerably between manufacturers. A cat that stops eating altogether is a bigger emergency than the kidney disease.
Are these available for both dogs and cats?
Yes. Most therapeutic categories exist in both species-specific dog and cat formulas. Never substitute one for the other; cats have different taurine and protein requirements.
